Words of wisdom from the Leader of the Opposition

I know that Stephane Dion's fluency in English is a bit dodgy at times, but is he serious when he states his latest reason for not forcing an election this summer?

Dion again asserted yesterday that he didn't want to provoke a July election and said, as he did last week, that he didn't think July was the right month to seize his chance because it's "the only month of the year with sun and heat."

Huh?

Good catch. I missed that one.

Doesn't bode well for the Global Warming fear-mongering, does it?

Of course he has the Quebec conviction that the construction holiday (the last two weeks in July) are sacred. A bit like August in France.

I'm sure we could help him come up with an excuse for every month, if he likes.

The Nutty Professor is terrified of an election right now. He floated his carbon tax...oops, pardon me, carbon shift...trial balloon and it was about as popular as a legal age virgin in a polygamist camp. He knows Rae and Ignatieff would love to see him fall on his face so, while he tries to adjust his super-tax with one hand he must hold off Brutus and Cassius with the other.
